Feb, April, Sept
Art Studio 4:10, provides art programs for children of all ages and abilities, including children with physical and developmental disabilities. Classes are taught by Jen Easterday.
In addition to being a life-long artist, Jen Easterday has been a registered nurse for 23+ years and has extensive experience working with children and adults with chronic illnesses, and physical and developmental disabilities.
Modeled after 1 Peter 4:10, our annual charity art auction gives all of our students and friends opportunities to use their gifts to serve the community by selling their art to support local and international charities.
Beginning Art*
Ages: Elementary and up
When: Every other Monday - Odessa, DE, OR every other Thursday in Elkton
Description: Classes will include opportunities to experience various media such as watercolor, acrylics, pastels, collage, printmaking, sculpture and more. The class atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Beginning art is great for a child who loves art, has a desire to learn more or for a child trying art for the first time. Students will have the opportunity to participate in various art based service projects in the community. Please contact Art Studio 4:10 for more information.
Intermediate Art*
Ages: Elementary and up
When: Every other Thursday - Elkton
Description: Classes are for the artist who has some experience and just can’t get enough art . Class atmosphere is upbeat and fun while also allowing the serious artist to really immerse themselves in their work. Students work in many types of media such as watercolor, acrylic painting on canvas, collage, printmaking, pastels and sculpture. Advanced Art*
Ages: Advanced Middle School and up or teacher recommendation
When: Every Tuesday - Paris Foundation
Description: Classes are designed for the student who loves art and exhibits a strong understanding of line, perspective, proportion, use of color and intermediate to advanced drawing skills. This will be an upbeat and fun class with challenging projects to include various media and group projects. This class is for students who have received a teacher recommendation or have a strong ability and interest in pursuing art. Projects at this level may take more that one class period to complete. Students will have opportunities to participate in various art based service projects in the community. Please contact Art Studio 4:10 for more information.
